Is That Marvin The Monkey

 Hello fellow bloggers it me again.

As you guys may know that NZ was in lock down and that means that we could not go to teach so the teach teachers gave us some work to do. One of the activities was to make a sock animal and I chose to make a sock monkey if you would like to learn how to make one for you self click this link. This took me about 2 and a harf days. This week in maths we were given a challenge, this challenge was to make a video of some sort. And this video had to teach you how to do BEDMAS, bedmas stand for Brackets, Exponents, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction. I made this video on stop motion animations for my first time using it I think I did pretty well if I do so myself so if there is any think I could improve on I would love it if you could comment it down below. Its Time For A Review On private peaceful

 Hello fellow bloggers its me again.

For the last term and a harf we have been reading a book called drum roll please...  private peaceful. This book is a really good read if you like reading about war and the old days and if you are not in to reading well it is your lucky day there is a move on it too. I found this book very nice and very emotional. The books main characters are two bay named Charlie and Tommo and the friend Molly (SPOILER ALERT) which her and Charlie fall in love and Charlie makes her pregnant. The book is set in England and in Germany, They live in England and the boys go to war in Germany. Have you read private peaceful? And if you have, Have you seen the movie?

I Want You In The Army

This week in Literacy we made posers on propaganda. Propaganda is where men are forced into the army to fight for there country at war. for this task we had to do some research and find out what propaganda is after that we had to make a poster on canva. Our Aladdin production

 Hello fellow bloggers.

For the past 12 weeks we have been working really hard on our production (Aladdin). The last 12 weeks we had to learn dances, songs and our lines. In the production we had 2 casts and  tahi and rua  each cast had 2 shows cast tahi had a days show and a night show and cast rua had 2 night shows . this week was our performance it was amazing and so much fun. Have you ever been in a school production?

The Table Test

 Hello fellow bloggers it's me again.

Today before we went to tech we did a STEAM challenge. The challenge was to make a table/ tower that could hold one 2.5 kg book or more and we had to work with 10 A3 sheets of paper and a 1 meter of tape. My team made a tower which manged to hold all 10 books, our tower was made out of 5 paper rolls and which were the paper rolled up and folded in harf and then rolled and taped and we did that five times and then taped the rolls to gather. If you were to make a tower how would you make it?

 

Matariki Ink print

 Hello fellow bloggers its me again.

For the last couple of weeks we have been doing some art on Matariki. This art is called printing, printing is when you get a piece of foam and then get some think like a pen or a pencil to light pries the foam. After you have done that you will want to get a A3 piece of paper and then you will get some ink. After you have got your ink you need to pour some ink on to a tray or some think ales like a plate or a piece of paper we used a piece of plastic that was taped down on to the table. When you have finessed all of that you will want to get a roller and then roll it in the ink. After rolling it in the ink you will roll the ink on you foam board (make sure you put lots of ink on it)  Then get you A3 piece of paper ly the paper on the foam board make sure it is the side that has ink on it. Then get a clean roller or you can use your hand to press or roll on top of the A3 paper and then peal the paper off the foam board and there you have it you ink print should have transferred to you piece of paper. After we had to make a frame for it. To make the frame we had to trace out a out line which we did with a stencil that our teacher made for us (we did this on a A3 piece of paper ) then we cut out the rectangle that was on the inside with a craft knife and then we glued our print to our frame. Aladdin Board Game

As you may know this year we are doing a production. And the production is Aladdin as I have mention we have a slide which has actives for us to do when were not learning our lines or a dance. One of the tasks where to make a board game that is relates to a sean in the production I did the a who new world sean. This tock me about 30 mints. Have you made a board game before?

 

STEAM Egg Drop

                         

Hello fellow bloggers its me again, On Wednesday before we went to tech we did this thing were we had to make a protective capsule which we had to drop from the mesaden which is about 3.5 meters tall our one did not go very well as soon as it hit the ground it smashed and egg was leaking out of the sides. But apart from that every think went well we all worked well together and every one was doing some think and when we were planing we all put our ideas together to make something amazing. What would you do to make it not crack?

Every Wednesday we do some art for the term. This art can not have any straight lines and it needs to have at least 1 hidden face and the colours have to go to with each outer. It was tricky because it was hard not to get straight lines and and another challenge was not smudging  the pastels this was really fun because it gave me something to do. Every Friday when the kapahaka kids go we maori and last week we started to make our animations it is on what is the whether. This task was fun but a little bit stressful because it would delete if I did not save it this also had a little bit of challenge to it because I had never made a animation on scratch. If you do make a animation on scratch I recommend using the tutorials Because I did not use them and at the end i fond out about them and my friend used them and hers was alot beater then my one. Have you used scratch before and if you have have you made a animation?

K.O.S Comic Strip

 

Hello fellow bloggers its me again every Wednesday we do this thing called k.o.s (keep ourself safe).

This week we had  to draw some comic strips one of them is about a girl at dance and she got booted out of the conversation and her friend got taken away and we had to draw what happen next and it had to be a good thing not a bad thing and in number 1 the girl who was being taken away and then she says leave me alone I what to be with her. And in the second one it is these two boys playing basketball and these bully's come along and bully one kid and then what I drew was the boys friend saying hey leave him alone and give our ball back. Have you been bullied like that or been left out? I found this task fun, and a bit challenging and I think it has a good message to not be the bully and to not leave people out.

 Welcome back fellow bloggers its me again and today I have made a short clip of the stuff I love. I made this on canva it was really fun to make. I have used canva before but I did not know you can make videos so that add a bit of a challenge. Whats your favourite thing in this world?

 Hello fellow bloggers. Its me again we started this on the first day of school and they have just been put up on the wall, the wall looks really cool. The hard part of this was drawing the face because when I went to  draw the eyes they would be in they wrong place or the would be to close together but i got them in the correct place eventually and the best part of this was the finished product. Do you like Lego?

My Perfect Pepeha

 This week we have been working on our pepeha it explains were i come from my who is in my family. The hard part about this was recording my voice and what i would do that was different next time I would get some better pitchers. I made this on  adobe spark and it took me ruffly 45 mints. do you have a pepeha?
