The Table Test

Today before we went to tech we did a STEAM challenge. The challenge was to make a table/ tower that could hold one 2.5 kg book or more and we had to work with 10 A3 sheets of paper and a 1 meter of tape. My team made a tower which manged to hold all 10 books, our tower was made out of 5 paper rolls and which were the paper rolled up and folded in harf and then rolled and taped and we did that five times and then taped the rolls to gather. If you were to make a tower how would you make it?

 

Matariki Ink print

 Hello fellow bloggers its me again.

For the last couple of weeks we have been doing some art on Matariki. This art is called printing, printing is when you get a piece of foam and then get some think like a pen or a pencil to light pries the foam. After you have done that you will want to get a A3 piece of paper and then you will get some ink. After you have got your ink you need to pour some ink on to a tray or some think ales like a plate or a piece of paper we used a piece of plastic that was taped down on to the table. When you have finessed all of that you will want to get a roller and then roll it in the ink. After rolling it in the ink you will roll the ink on you foam board (make sure you put lots of ink on it)  Then get you A3 piece of paper ly the paper on the foam board make sure it is the side that has ink on it. Then get a clean roller or you can use your hand to press or roll on top of the A3 paper and then peal the paper off the foam board and there you have it you ink print should have transferred to you piece of paper. After we had to make a frame for it. To make the frame we had to trace out a out line which we did with a stencil that our teacher made for us (we did this on a A3 piece of paper ) then we cut out the rectangle that was on the inside with a craft knife and then we glued our print to our frame. Aladdin Board Game

As you may know this year we are doing a production. And the production is Aladdin as I have mention we have a slide which has actives for us to do when were not learning our lines or a dance. One of the tasks where to make a board game that is relates to a sean in the production I did the a who new world sean. This tock me about 30 mints. Have you made a board game before?

 

STEAM Egg Drop

                         

Hello fellow bloggers its me again, On Wednesday before we went to tech we did this thing were we had to make a protective capsule which we had to drop from the mesaden which is about 3.5 meters tall our one did not go very well as soon as it hit the ground it smashed and egg was leaking out of the sides. But apart from that every think went well we all worked well together and every one was doing some think and when we were planing we all put our ideas together to make something amazing. What would you do to make it not crack?

Hi guys its me again, Every 2 years our school has a production this years is  Aladdin. One of our task when we are not praising or learning a dance we have a slide that has some task for us to do I chose to do the pixel art one it was to make a character I did Jasmine and the Genie. Every Wednesday we do some art for the term. This art can not have any straight lines and it needs to have at least 1 hidden face and the colours have to go to with each outer. It was tricky because it was hard not to get straight lines and and another challenge was not smudging  the pastels this was really fun because it gave me something to do.
